An EAC Canine

Our Mission

Early Alert Canines' mission is to train medical detection dogs. We enhance the health, safety, and well-being of individuals with insulin-dependent diabetes through partnerships with certified blood sugar alert dogs. Additionally, we advance public health by training and deploying dogs to detect other diseases.

Early Alert Canines (EAC) has built our organization from a diverse community of clients, staff, volunteers, partners, and donors, representing different races, religions, ethnicities, ages, and gender identities. All EAC clients share the challenge of managing a life-threatening disease, and it's our privilege to provide them with individualized support to improve their quality of life. We cultivate a non-judgmental and welcoming environment focused on helping each client feel supported and celebrated for what makes them unique.
